Vision, Mission, and Objectives of SSLT

Vision:

To establish the professional rights, uniqueness, and dignity of healthcare professionals in communication, hearing, and swallowing.

Mission:

To create an environment in which the professions addressing communication, hearing, and swallowing are regulated and recognized as essential components of health and rehabilitation by all stakeholders.

Objectives:

  1. Enhancing Professional Standards: To advance the professions related to communication, hearing, and swallowing healthcare by promoting ethical practices, setting high standards, and encouraging research tailored to the needs of Bangladesh.
  2. Elevating Education: To support universities and institutes in improving education and training by setting academic and clinical standards, assisting with curriculum development, organizing faculty training, and facilitating student clinical placements.
  3. Promoting Evidence-Based Practices: To disseminate best practices through national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  4. Advocating Professional Rights: To collaborate with the government and stakeholders in establishing educational institutions, professional councils, and employment opportunities in healthcare, education, and rehabilitation sectors.
  5. Supporting International Graduates: To assist internationally qualified professionals in registration and credentialing processes.
  6. Registration Services: To provide membership registration for eligible practitioners in Bangladesh.
